Government Degree College Kotli, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh

Surrounded by the lush green trees and hillocks, with NH 70 passing through it, kotli town is located at a distance of 22 Kms from Distt. headquarter Mandi. The Govt. degree College Kotli was established in June 22, 2016. The newly opened college offers an opportunity for the students from rural area who aspire to achieve excellence in the field of higher education and somehow are deprived of the opportunity to join any institution in the cities due to adverse family or economic circumstances.

The college provides educational opportunity to the student of the surrounding areas like Sakswal, Dandhal,Chalahar,Kushmal etc. as well as far of areas like Surari and Laagdhar.

An area of 35 bighas has been identified for locating the college which is nearby bus stand and is ideal for the purpose. At present the college is functioning from a building nearby GSSS Kotli.

Apart from teaching, extra curricular activities shall also be introduced in the college in the time to come which will help in the holistic development of the personality of the students and shall groom them into better citizens.
